Mary Ann Hogg, 88 of Pine Mountain, Georgia died Sunday, August 19, 2019 at Pruitt Health of Greenville, Georgia.

Mrs. Hogg was born September 13, 1930 in Pine Mountain, Georgia, formerly Chipley, the daughter of Jesse and Thelma Irvin McGee. Mrs. Hogg retired from serving as the switch-board operator at Callaway Gardens. She devoted her time primarily serving in church as a Sunday school teacher and secretarial duties over the years at Bethany Baptist, Bethlehem Baptist and New Covenant Baptist Churches. She enjoyed her pet Yorkshire terriers, Duke and J.R. and spoiled them as much as her own grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Thelma Irvin McGee; her siblings Meuzette Johnson, Betty Jean Shumate, Jesse McGee Jr., and Peggy McGee; her husband William Allen Hogg; and her daughter Frances Diane Kelly.

A graveside service for Mrs. Hogg will be held at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Pine Mountain, Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to New Covenant Baptist Church missions fund to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout Kenya, Alaska, the Vanuatu Islands and Erode, India.
