In the early morning of February 25th, 2019, when the colors of the day began to show, Jeffery Conley Young was welcomed into Heaven. Jeffery was born on March 17, 1988 in Lubbock, Texas. He graduated from Klein High School in 2006 and continued his education at Texas State University.

At a young age, it was prominent that Jeffery was very talented. He started doing paintings and artwork at the age of 7 and later learned to love photography. Anyone who knew Jeffery knew how big of a heart he had. Jeffery was always trying to make others laugh and smile, he was nurturing and just fun to be around. He truly lived everyday like it was his last.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Melissa Conley (Dennis) Polk of Corpus Christi, father Jeffery S. Young (Melissa Mancha) of Odessa and sister, Shelbi Young of Corpus Christi. Uncles and aunts include: Jamey (Connie) Young of Austin, Rusty (Joey) Conley of Lubbock and Dan Welch of Richmond. His cousins include Taylor and Bryce Conley, Trisha Welch and Chelsea Lahey.

Jeffery was welcomed in Heaven by a loving crowd. His grandparents, Bill (172121972) and Mary (189547828) Young and Erbie (81152495) and Maizie (81152454) Conley, aunt Patricia Welch (81152315) and many loving friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will follow on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors followed by graveside service held at The Palms Memorial Gardens in Portland, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers are Matthew Stowe, Devin Moody, Harrison Spence, Brian Neeld, Michael Wheeler and Jonathan Males. Honorary pallbearers are Rusty Conley, Dan Welch, Jamey Young and Adam Whitton.
