JoAnn Rhode Butler, age 78, of the Cherry Fork community, departed this life Monday, August 19, 2019 at her home with family by her side. She was born March 19, 1949 in Scott County, Tennessee, to the late Richard and Hattie Hughett Foster. She attended Hilltop Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was proceeded in death by her husband, Clinton “Dude” Butler; brothers, AC Pratt and wife Dorothy, James H. “Bill” Foster and wife Libby, Chester “Stokes” Foster, Scott Foster and infant baby boy; brother-in-law, Roger Thorne; sisters, Mattie Steel and husband Joe, Hulda Foster and husband Dillard, Magaline “Tiny” Perkins, infant sisters, Cloretta, Joan, Dixie, and Christine Foster; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lemuel West and Elsie Butler.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy West and husband Curtis of Helenwood, Tennessee; brother, Sam Foster and wife Brenda of Kentucky; sister, Jean Thorne of Oneida, Tennessee; sisters-in-law, Hazel Harness of Oneida, Tennessee and Katie Foster of Virginia; brother-in-law, Carvel Perkins of Helenwood, Tennessee; special friends, Faye King and Helen Owens; many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 A.M. until the time of funeral service at 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 23, 2019 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Oneida with Bro. Tony Lowe and Bro. Paul Foster officiating. Music will be provided by JoAnn Gibson, Nanette Duncan, and Evelene Foster. Burial will follow in the Foster Cemetery in Oneida, Tennessee.

Pallbearers will be, Taylor, Jamie, and Jerry Foster, Colten and Creston Perkins, and Robin Carroll.

Honorary Pallbearers will be, Curt West, Anthony and Cirstan Perkins, Nick, Wade, Jason, and Dustin Foster.
