HENDERSON - Funeral services for John Thomas Anderson, 70, of Cape Carteret were at 2 p.m. today in J. M. White Funeral Chapel in Henderson. Burial was in Sunset Gardens.
He died Sunday in Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount.
He was a retired owner of Anderson Bargain House and was a native of Wilkes County., He was a member of North Henderson Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, John Thomas Anderson Jr. of Greenville and Robert Lee Anderson of Henderson; a sister, Mrs. Ella Walker of Elkin; a brother Joseph Anderson of North Wilkesboro; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
