Lowell Osborne Wilson, age 92, of Cincinnati, OH, passed away at his home with family by his side, on Sunday, August 18, 2019.
He was born January 16, 1927, in Jabez, KY, to the late Elmer and Josie Wilson.
Lowell was preceded in death by his wife Dulcie "Dixie" Wilson, and his daughter, Frances "Connie" Brown. He was also preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters, Delno, Floyd, Russell, Fallis and Dallas Wilson, Orpha Turner, Lechta Prather, Elma Cobb, and Gladys Coe.
Lowell is survived by his son Jerry (Shirley) Wilson, daughter Cathy-Kate Wilson, grand-daughter Sheri (Brad) Jones and two great grand-children Julianna and Tyler Jones. He also leaves behind his special friend Mazie Quillen, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Lowell was a World War II Army Veteran serving in Italy. Lowell retired from the Kroger and Colonial stores in 1989 where he had worked for over 40 years in the food warehouse. He also served as Teamsters Business Agent for Local 661. He was a member of the Ashland Avenue Baptist Church in Norwood, OH.
