William Vasquez, age 45, passed away on August 9, 2018, at Staten Island University Hospital North. He was the beloved husband of April Laperuta, loving father of Timothy Vazquez and Andrew Vazquez; dear brother Raymond Vazquez (Amber Herschberger) and Christina Suarez; dear uncle of Zarina Vazquez and Jordan Vazquez; fond stepson of Jose Suarez.

William was born and raised in the Bronx and relocated to Staten Island in 1996. Mr. Vasquez was a graduate of Evander Childs High School in the Bronx. He was employed as a Boat Operator for Miller Marine on Staten Island. William was very fond of and fascinated by trains, playing video games, rooting for the NY Yankees, and enjoyed eating Chinese Food. He especially loved spending time with his family, especially his children.

Funeral Service at the Matthew Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Wednesday, at 8:30 pm. Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Arrangements include a private cremation.
