Charlotte Mae (LaPine) Lawton, 91, died peacefully on Sunday, August 18, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Hilda LaPine; she was predeceased by her husband Donald “K” Lawton and son Douglas Craig Lawton. Charlotte was born in Elizabethtown, New York on March 4, 1928. She graduated from Elizabethtown High School, and then attended Albany Business College. She married Donald June 1, 1947. She was a member of BPOE 2480, Eastern Star, VFW, Helderberg Reformed Church, GCFD Auxiliary and a VA Hospital volunteer. Charlotte was employed by the Tom Sawyer Motor Inn, Master Cleaners and Guilderland Center Nursing Home. She spent the last 5 years in Queensbury, New York near her daughters.
