MESA – Deborah A. Hawes, 79, of Mesa, who had taught 15 years at Roosevelt Elementary School, died Aug. 27, 1981, in Mesa Lutheran Hospital.
Mrs. Hawes was born in Tempe. She was a graduate of Tempe Normal School and a member of the Mesa Garden Club.
Survivors include two brothers and three sisters.
Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Monday at First Assembly of God Church, 163 S. Robson, Melcher Mortuary announced.
