Jeanette M. Baker passed away peacefully on June 29, 2019, at the age of 100. She was born in Madoc, Montana on August 31, 1918, to Theophile and Clara (LaRoche) Primeau. She attended school in St. John, North Dakota and graduated in 1936 from St. John High School. Later she attended Business College in Fargo, North Dakota. Jeanette married Charles Hanson on August 18, 1942, in Grafton, North Dakota. Charles preceded her in death in 1956. After losing her husband she moved to Longview, WA in 1965 and worked at Lower Columbia College as a secretary in various departments. At the time she retired in 1981 she was the office manager for the Office of Instruction. In 1984 she married Harry Baker; he preceded her in death in 2001. Also, preceding her in death were her brothers Louis, Joseph, and Arthur Primeau and sisters Roseanna LaHaise, Diana Collette, Marie Sevigny, and Elaine Reams.

She is survived by a son-in-law, Louis O’Conner of Seattle, WA and a stepson Marlin Baker of Puyallup, WA; along with three step-granddaughters, one great-granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St, Rose Parish, 701 26th Ave, Longview, WA or Ray Hickey Hospice House, 2112 E. Mill Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98661.

A Memorial Mass will be held on July 12, 2019, at 11:00 am at St. Rose Parish in Longview, WA. And a private entombment is scheduled at Longview Memorial Park
