Memorial services for Kim Darrell Jones will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 21, 2019 in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel, 110 South 12th Street, Oakdale, Louisiana 71463, with Reverend Chad Longino officiating, under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Kim, 64, of Vidalia, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 in Alexandria. He was born January 21, 1955 in Winnsboro to the union of Edwin Eugene Jones, Sr. and Wilma Mildred (Kendrick) Jones.

In 1973, he graduated from Gilbert High School. Kim loved fishing, cooking and spending time with his family. He also, enjoyed building things around his property and for people.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Wilma Jones.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are: his daughter, Nola Shafer of Hineston; two granddaughters, Charity and Madison Moreau of Hineston; one sister, Gayle Boyte of Ferriday; one brother, Edwin Eugene “Buddy” Jones, Jr. and his wife, Kathy of South Louisiana; stepmother, Shirley Jones of Gilbert; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 from 12 noon until time of service at 2 p.m.
