PENDLETON — Marilyn Joan (Roland) Gustin, 82, former Anderson/Markleville resident, died June 30, 2007, at Miller's Merry Manor in Middletown.
She was born Sept. 27, 1924, in Madison County, resided in Pendleton for several years, in Anderson for 16 years and was a longtime Markleville resident.
She was a graduate of Markleville High School.
In 1973, Marilyn retired from Guide Lamp Div. of General Motors in Anderson after 30 years of employment.
She was a member of UAW Union Local 663 in Anderson.
Survivors include two sons, Darryl Wayne and wife Ann Gustin of North Fort Myers, Fla., and Dean Eddie and wife Nina Gustin of Markleville; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Vance Gustin; her parents, Perry L. and Inda (Elliott) Roland; and three sisters, Phyllis Cook, Martha Fox and Gilda Mae Roland.
Graveside services and burial will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mechanicsburg Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Shawn Easterling.
There will be no visitation.
