On Tuesday, August 6, 2019, Paul Randall Gibson, loving friend and father of five children passed away at the age of 56. Paul was born on June 21, 1963 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to William Hoyt Gibson and Evelyn Doyle Gibson. Paul is preceded in death by his father, Hoyt and his mother, Evelyn; daughter, Terry Lynn "Teeny" Gibson and two brothers, Bartley Dewayne Doyle, Sr. and Jeffrey Lynn Gibson. He is survived by his sons, Paul Randall (PJ) Rivers, William Dewayne Rivers and Curtis Shayne Gibson; daughters, Sharon Marie Gibson (Mimi) and Kaylyn Danice Grubbs; brothers, William David Roberts, Douglas Crawford Gibson and Joseph Wayne Gibson; sister, Evelyn Lynell Gibson Williams; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Paul was a loving friend who loved his friends and his family. He was a man that loved his children. He was a helper and always helped others when he could. He had a spunky, opinionated personality, which always had a way to make the people around him laugh and smile. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, from 10:00 am till 11:00 am, with the funeral service at 11:00 am at Caney Creek Apostolic Church, 16613 FM 1485, Conroe, Texas 77306. Arrangements have been entrusted to Claire Brothers Funeral Home, 7901 Hillcroft Street, Houston, Texas 77081. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, from 10:00 am till 11:00 am, with the funeral service at 11:00 am at Caney Creek Apostolic Church, 16613 FM 1485, Conroe, Texas 77306. Paul will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Rosewood Cemetery in New Caney.
