October 27, 1953 - August 16, 2019
Reeves-Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the Family Place Church. Rev. Glen Ducharme will officiate. Burial will follow in Creel Memorial Gardens under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.
The family will receive visitors at the Family Place Church beginning Monday, August 19, 2019 from 4-9 p.m. Visitation will resume at the church on Tuesday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Timothy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend. He was devoted to his wife, Janet, for the past 45 years. He was also a faithful member of the Family Place Church in Reeves. Timothy served our country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam conflict. He enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking, hunting, and fishing. He also liked to cook and barbeque. He worked very hard to provide for his family over the years. Timothy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Timothy’s memory include his wife, Janet Snavely Granger, of Reeves; two sons, Ronald Davis and wife, Debra, of Eureka Springs, AR, and Timothy Granger, Jr. of Reeves; one daughter, Rhonda Bertrand and husband, Waylin, of Reeves; 8 grandchildren-Nicole, Andrew, Adam, Alex, Autumn, Sadie, Shelbi, and Mason; and 9 great grandchildren-Alexis, Owen, Edward, Garrett, Brayton, Kallon, Izzabella, Bravely, Ryland; and “one on the way.”
Timothy is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Rena Granger; three brothers, Tony, Raymond, and Roy Granger; and one sister, Esther Fontenot.
