Mrs. Etta L. Scribner

Dixmont, Feb. 11 -- Mrs. Etta L. Scribner, 73, widow of Lucian B. Scribner, died here today.

Mrs. Scribner was a native of Princeton. She made her home in Topsfield for some time, and for the past 30 years was a resident of this town, where she made a wide circle of friends. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ross Hodsdon of Topsfield, Mrs. Paul Blake of Lee, Mrs. Frank Walker of Westboro, Mass., and Mrs. Ned McAtee of Dixmont; six sons, Leonard and Vinal Noyes and William Scribner of Lee, Washington Noyes of Dixmont, Paul Noyes of Carmel, and Raymond Noyes of Worcester, Mass.; 37 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Leland of Bridgton and Mrs. Maria McDonnell (sic) of Princeton; two brothers, Merton and William James of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at the home of her son, Washington Noyes, in Dixmont, Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock, and burial will be in the Simpson's Corner cemetery.
