Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Boyd with burial in Sweetwater Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Rev. Mark Autry and Rev. Bill Hughes will officiate. Pallbearers include Johnny Wall, Juan Flores, Jack Sherwood, Robert Blickensderfer, Chuck Fojtik, and Gregory Griffeth.
Ronald was born on December 31, 1952 to Floyd Edwards and Annie Lorene (Lofton) Lambert in Decatur. He was united in marriage to Lissa Ann Maddux on March 23, 1981 in Jacksboro. He was a member at First Baptist Church of Boyd.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his 2 daughters, Lorene Fay Larned, and Nora Beth Bruce; sister, Anita Joyce Lambert; and brother, Edward Stanley Lambert.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 38 years, Lissa Lambert of Decatur; his son, Rodney Lambert and wife Rachel of Decatur; his 5 grandchildren, Chris Ray, Rebecca Marsh, Bryan Marsh, Dustin Woods, and Hannah Lambert; his brothers, Wayne Lambert of Pottsboro, and Clifford Lambert and wife Pat of Paradise; his sister, Donna Taylor and husband Robert of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
