Tara graduated from West Fulton High School in 1988 and later trained at the Atlanta Job Corps Center. Over the years, she worked at Value Village and the Coca-Cola Company. She was a fun loving person with a huge smile. She was also very fond of children and worked as a caring babysitter for family and friends. She had a big heart and an unconditional love for her brother, Amp. They were like two peas in a pod; you never saw one without the other.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving mother, Gail Stephenson; father, Bobby Walker; stepfather, Lenell Stephenson; loving grandmothers, Lottie Robinson and Annie Nelson; a devoted brother, Anthony Walker; brother, Carlos Smith; stepbrother, Lenell Stephenson; stepsister, Chantay Stephenson; three uncles, Ralph, Calvin and Michael; two aunts, Diane and Jeanette; a loving great-aunt, Hazel Perry; special niece, A'mya Bexley; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
