Michael David McMillion, age 62, of Bedford, VA, and formerly of Peterstown, WV, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, in Lynchburg, VA. Born March 26, 1957, in Montgomery, WV, he was the son of the late William R. and Agnes Irene Danbury McMillion. Michael was a member of the Cashmere Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding his four-wheeler and watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys, WVU Mountaineers, and Kentucky Wildcats. He loved coloring, watching westerns on tv, wrestling, and mowing. He was always willing to help his family and never met a stranger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, John “Danny”, Jimmy, and Larry McMillion. Survivors include two brothers, William “Billy” McMillion and wife Janet of Bedford, VA, and Sammy McMillion and wife Sherry of Ivor, VA; one sister, Drema Bowden of Edmonton, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Pastor Bryan Sheehan officiating. Burial will follow at Peterstown Cemetery in Rich Creek, VA. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
