She graduated from Stamford High School Class of 1951 and Westbrook Jr. College, Portland, ME, in 1953. Marie worked in the Radiology Department at the Stamford Hospital for thirty years before retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. Mary RC Church.
She is survived by her two sons, Daniel J. Versace and Michael P. Versace; and her most precious grandson, Kevin M. Versace. A sister, Angela Shea and her husband Francis; two brothers, Michael Pangia; and Eugene Pangia and his wife Emma; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Anthony Pangia and Carlo Joseph Pangia.

A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 10:20 AM on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 and proceed to St. Mary RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Darien.
