Clarence Lewis Wells Jr, 87, of Novinger, Missouri passed away on July 4, 2019 at the Loch Haven Senior Living Community in Macon, Missouri.

He was born October 21, 1931 the son of Clarence Lewis Wells and Stella Denoto in Newton, Iowa. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Anna Mae Van Baale Wells; two brothers, Robert Wells and John Jerry Wells; granddaughter, Bobbi Jo Mackenzie; grandson, Robert L. Wells.

Clarence is survived by his second wife, four children, four step-children,twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren; two brothers,a sister, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Clarence was a man who loved the Lord, God’s green earth and being the greens keeper at the Unionville Golf Course. He enjoyed car racing, traveling and spending the winter’s in Texas.

Clarence served his country in the US Army from 1951-1953 and served a 24-month tour In Japan and Korea.

Clarence’s wishes were for Cremation and interment at the Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery and Monroe Cemetery in Monroe, Iowa.
