Funeral services for John Bryan Burrus, 64, who came to Santa Cruz several months ago, will be conducted tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. at White's chapel with Dr. Heber St. Clair Mahood officiating. Private interment will follow in the Oakwood Memorial park.
He is survived by his wife, Gracie B. Burrus, Santa Cruz; two sons, Lloyd Burrus, Dellton, Tex., and Ulysses Gene Burrus, Waco, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Evalene Boone, Long Beach; a stepson, Charley Boyd Burrus, Santa Cruz; a sister, Mrs. Grace Smith, Andrews, Tex.; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Burrus was a native of Arkansas. He was a member of the Baptist church. He died Thursday.
