The Toiler (Smith Center, Kansas) Friday, October 10, 1879, Page 4
It is painful to be called upon the second time during our first week’s experience in the sanctum to chronicle the departure of a parent’s jewel. This time it is our neighbors, Jasper and Julia Adams, let to mourn the loss of their little Curtis, who died of diphtheria about seven o’clock Wednesday evening. He was a handsome, intelligent child hardly two years old.
