Norma I. Schroeder, age 77, Green Bay, died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2002 at a local nursing home.
She was born Dec. 31, 1924, to the late Ivan and Erma (Zierzow) Schroeder in Two Rivers. She was a 1943 graduate of Two Rivers High School, a 1947 graduate of St. Therese School of Nursing, Waukegan, Ill., and 1957 graduate of DePaul University in Chicago, with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. Norma had been employed by UCLA Hospital, Cook County Hospital, Chicago, and the Illinois Masonic Hospital, Chicago, retiring in 1991. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law: Gerald (Viola) Schroeder, Greenleaf; and Charles (Pauline) Schroeder, Two Rivers, six nieces and nephews and their spouses: Kathy and Mike Van Susteren, Verona; Richard and Rita Schroeder, Wrightstown; Millie Schroeder, Greenleaf; Edward and Theresa Schroeder, Green Bay; Mary Jo and David Jetton, Wrightstown; Brian and Sandy Schroeder, Two Rivers; and Linda and Andrew Ostrand, Egg Harbor; many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one nephew: Robert.
Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1137 Kenwood St., Green Bay, where the funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Bill Limmer officiating. Burial will be in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Lyndahl Funeral Home, Green Bay, is serving the family.
A memorial fund has been established.
