DORA SCHROEDER
(1874 - 1959)

Mrs. Dora Schroeder, 84, of 1818 30th St., Two Rivers, died late Sunday afternoon at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital where she had been a patient since Dec. 3, following a hip injury sustained at her home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Klein & Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, the Rev. M. J. Roehrdanz officiating. Interment will be in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Mrs. Schroeder, nee Dora Cook, was born May 16, 1874, at Columbia City, Ind., daughter of the late Albert and Melinda Essig Cook. She was married in 1895 to Charles Schroeder of Two Creeks at Winnebago, Ill. After two years of residence at Winnebago the family moved to a farm in the Town of Two Creeks. In 1942 the family moved to Two Rivers. Mr. Schroeder died in Two Rivers in 1947.

Surviving are three daughters, the Misses Frances and Melvina at home, and Mrs. Charles Kornely of Mishicot; two sons, Ivan of Two Rivers and Harold of Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Whitney who resided with Mrs. Schroeder and Mrs. Rhoda North of Larwill, Ind.; a brother, George Cook of Rockford, Ill.; eight grand-children and 13 great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
