Phillip Stephen Green, age 53, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019 in Norton Women's and Childrens Hospital in Louisville. He was born January 11, 1966 in Kansas City, KS. to Margaret Caroline Worley and George William Green.
Phillip was an employee of the Archdiocese of Louisville, was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Jeffersontown where he worked as a business manager, and loved U.K. athletics.
He was preceded in death by his father, George William Green, and a brother, Gregory Green.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Maggie Green and Karrie Green, his son, Jacob Green, all of Bardstown, his mother, Margaret Cooke, his sister, Kimberly Ann Green, both of Louisville, 4 brothers, Christopher (Dennise) Green of Louisville, Kevin Cooke, Kelly Cooke, both of Jeffersonville, IN., Scott (Melanie) Cooke of Mt. Washington, and the mother of his children, Leslie Green of Bardstown.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Phillip Stephen Green will be 10:00 am Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Fr. Jason Harris, celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00-8:00pm . A prayer service will be Monday at 7:00 pm.
