Ronald Keith Hansen, 82, a long-time resident of Fullerton, died August 15, 2019. Ronald was born in Richfield, Utah to James Orvil Hansen and Eva Edith (Montgomery) Hansen. He attended the College of Southern Utah in Cedar City, Utah where he majored in music and business. He graduated from Utah State University (Logan) with a Bachelor of Science in Education. He was drafted into the U.S. Army where he served full time for 2 years, mostly in Germany, before completing his service in the Army Reserve. He married Joyce Petersen in 1963 in Glendale, California and they had 3 children together. He taught music in Utah, and Poway, California, and then became a music teacher for the Buena Park School District for 30 years before retiring. He touched the lives of many students throughout the years. Ronald was preceded in death by his wife Joyce, his parents J. Orvil Hansen and Eva Hansen, sister Barbara (Hansen) Olson, and brother Harold Hansen. He was a kind man who will be greatly missed by his children, grandchildren, and extended family including nieces, nephews and cousins. He is survived by his children, Kevin (Violeta) Hansen, Kyle Hansen, and Amy (Kraig) Strom, and his grandchildren Matthew Hansen, and Brendan Hansen.
