Danny Eugene Allen, 72, of Thomaston, Georgia, died on August 14, 2019 at The Medical Center of Central Georgia. He was born on May 7, 1947 in Thomaston, Georgia to Wilbur Gene "Wormy" Allen and Geneva (Parker) Allen. He was a Member of Emory's Chapel Baptist Church and retired from both Eckerds Drug Store and the Department of Transportation (DOT). He was preceded in death by his father. He was survived by his wife, mother, two daughters, son, sister, niece, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Funeral: August 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Emory's Chapel Baptist Church. Interment followed in the Church Cemetery. Arrangements: Coggins Funeral Home.
