Paul Arthur Weber, 95, of Grinnell died August 13, 2019, at St. Francis Manor in Grinnell, Iowa. Graveside service and burial at Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell with Pastor Kathy Roys, St. John's Lutheran Church, officiating.

Paul was born on September 26, 1923, on the family farm in Malcom Township, east of Grinnell, the son of Frederick and Selma Sophia Osten Weber. He was raised on the farm and later moved with his family to Grinnell. Paul was a 1941 graduate of Grinnell High School and active with F.F.A. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

On February 18, 1960, he married Louise Clifford, in Waterloo. The couple continued to live in Grinnell. Paul was employed with Anderson & Erickson Dairy and with DeKalb prior to working in the maintenance department at G.T.E. He retired in 1985.

He was a faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Grinnell and enjoyed reading the Bible.

Paul was very loving and devoted to his family; he was extremely giving, kind, and genuine to those he knew. He loved animals, the outdoors, gardening, and camping. Most times he could be found walking, working in his yard, or tinkering in his garage. He held a passion for music. He sang and played the guitar, mandolin, or fiddle, in a Blue Grass band at various Blue Grass festivals for many years. He enjoyed watching football and was a fan of both the Iowa Hawkeyes and Iowa State Cyclones.

Paul is survived by his step-daughter, Kathryn Gould of Grinnell; two granddaughters, Robin Paulson of Grinnell and Shelly (Jeff) Yates of Ankeny; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Louise in 2004; two sisters, Pearl Adkins and Gladys Weber; his step-son-in-law, Jim Gould; and a grandson-in-law, Tim Paulson.
