Memorial services will be held for Grady Verell Adcock and Wilma Catherine Winstead Adcock on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from Pine Grove Baptist Church in the House community. Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Wilma Catherine Winstead Adcock was born January 10, 1925 to William Leslie Winstead and Essie Pearl {Winstead} Winstead in the House Community of Neshoba County, Mississippi. She passed from this earth on July 15, 2020.
Wilma married Rev. Grady Adcock July 3, 1942. They were married 78 years. They have two sons Ralph Adcock and Roland Adcock.
Wilma was a gifted seamstress as well as crocheting and embroidery and cooking. Wilma was a secretary for Oklahoma State University for 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; nine siblings, Lawrence and wife Lila (known as Coot), infant Thomas Holland, Bert and wife Masie, Edna and husband George Parker, Murray and wife Mazine, Lora Belle and husband R.B. Tingle, Dot and husband Joy Langdon, Max and infant Mary Ivaloy; brother-in-law, Vernon Walker; sister-in-law, Lily Winstead.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Grady Adcock {98 years old}; sons, Rev. Ralph Adcock {Carol}, Roland Adcock {Gwen}; sister, Anne Walker, Beth {Don} Howington; brother, Tom Winstead; four grandchildren, Brent Adcock, Bryan {Jennifer} Adcock, Dewayne {Sherry} Adcock, Emily {Jeff} White; six great-grandchildren, Eli and Maddy White, Drew, Luke, Cate and Landon Adcock. She had lots of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
