Cecil Robert Phillips Jay - Cecil Robert Phillips, 77, passed away on June 18, 2018 at Santa Rosa Medical Center. He was born on June 18, 1941, in Santa Rosa County. He owned Jay Pharmacy for 51 years and was a member of Masonic Lodge 176 and Jay Chapter 208 Order of the Eastern Star. He was preceded in death by: his first wife, Janice Snowden Phillips; parents, Alva and Bertie Phillips; two brothers, Loyd Phillips and Floyd O'Neal Phillips; four sisters, Kathryn Davis, Louise Freels, Thelma Phillips, and an infant sister. Survivors include: his wife, Margaret Reaves Phillips; two stepdaughters, Katherine Smith (David) and Tracee Driver (Scotty); five grandchildren, Michael Smith (Rebecka), Brooke Steele (Rusty), Garrett Smith, Twyla Kelley (Jeff) and Camille Driver; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, William Eugene Phillips and Joe Phillips; one sister, Rochelle Brown; and numerous special nieces and nephews. Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton is in charge of arrangements. He was a member of Jay United Methodist Church. Visitation will be at the church on June 21, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service begins at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Mac Fulcher and Rev. Ebb Hagan officiating. Burial will follow at Concord Baptist Church. Active pallbearers will be Rocky Phillips, Steven Phillips, Donny George, Jerry Davis, Michael Smith and Garrett Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Dale Phillips, Ben West, Randy Watson, Jack McGraw, Carmen Ivie, David Scobey, Donald Boutwell, Randy Prescott, Wayne Hawthorne, Keith Megginson, William Patrick, Frank Green and Jerry Nowling.
