Kathleen Mae Baker, 85, resident of The Villages, FL formerly of Tampa, FL and Jefferson, OH passed away August 12, 2019 in Ocala, FL.

Kathleen was born April 24, 1934 in Tenmile, WV. She worked as secretary for the county and schools in Hillsborough County, FL. When she was younger she worked as a secretary in Washington, DC.

She enjoyed golfing with her husband, Ladies Lunches and shopping; and especially time with her great granddaughter Jordyn.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter Lori Ann (Jeff) Allen; granddaughter Kimberly Allen Hasmi; great-granddaughter Jordyn Hasmi; sisters Helen (Raymond) Hall, and Dorothy Sheets; multiple nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law Sue DeBarr. She is preceded in death by her husband Lee.

Graveside service will be Fri., Aug. 23, 2019 11:30 AM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Arrangements entrusted with HIERS-BAXLEY Funeral & Cremation Life Event Center, 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, FL 32162. Family suggests memorial donations may be given to Amedisys Foundation, 3854 American Way Suite A, Baton Rouge, LA 70816; Shriners Hospitals for Children; or Parkinson’s Foundation.
