On Monday August 12th 2019 Larry E. Alexander, soldier, husband, and father of three children, passed away peacefully at the age of 88.

Larry E.Alexander was born on the 1st of June in 1931 in Cateechee South Carolina. He graduated from High School in South Carolina and entered the service of his nation in the United States Army shortly thereafter. He married Sieglinde Anna Berthold in Bamberg West Germany on the 23rd of August in 1958.

Larry E. Alexander was defined by his service to his nation. His service in the United States Army was exemplary. His 28 year military career as a soldier, including war time service in Korea and Vietnam, was punctuated by his achievement of the highest possible enlisted rank of Sergeant Major.

Larry E. Alexander is preceded in death by his wife Sieglinde Alexander, parents Ernest Thornley Alexander and Mary Etta (Chastain) Alexander, and his brothers and sisters.

Private funeral services for friends and family will be held on Monday August 19th at 10 AM in the Chapel at Aspen Mortuary 1350 Simms Street in Lakewood Colorado. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Larry's name to the Alzheimers Foundation.
