Margaret Edna Bagley, 86, of Silver Spring, MD, died February 2, 2010, at Brooke Grove Nursing Home in Sandy Springs, MD.
Mrs. Bagley was an Office Manager over 40 years with Des Moines Register Newspaper Bureau, Washington, DC, and had a strong work ethic. She attended the Washington School for Secretaries and lived in Washington where she met her husband, Dr. Edward R. Bagley.
Born October 19, 1923, in Newport, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Raymond St. Clair and the late Mary Anna Stonestreet St. Clair.
Predeceased by her parents; husband, Edward Rogerson Bagley, M.D.
Survived by her son, Edward S. Bagley of Hartford, CT; daughter, Mary Anne Stevenson of Silver Spring, MD; brother, William Arthur St. Clair of Newport, MD; sister, Mary Dorothy Stavely of Hyattsville, MD. Also survived by two grandchildren, Casey L. Stevenson and Lindsey C. Stevenson.
Visitation will be Monday, February 8, 2010, from 2-4PM and 6- 8PM, at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD, with prayers at 7PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at 10AM, at St. Mary’s Church, Newport, MD.
Msgr. Oliver McGready will officiate.
Interment will be at St. Mary’s Church Cemetery, Newport, MD.
