Oakdale-Funeral Services for Paul Doyle, 66, will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Northside Baptist Church. Elder Larry Wilson and Rev. Hardy Estes will officiate. Burial will follow at Cryer Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.
The family will receive visitors at Northside Baptist Church from 11 a.m. -10 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2019. Visitation will resume Thursday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Paul was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, and a friend to all. He was a loving husband to his wife, Juanita, for 21 years. He was the best water-well man around! Paul was a Baptist by faith. He enjoyed working on anything until it came to a lawn mower. He loved his three dogs, Bell, Gigi and Ella like they were his kids. Paul will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Paul’s memory include his wife, Juanita Doyle of Elizabeth; four sons, Michael Paul Doyle (Cheryl), Nolan Fortenberry (Jennifer), Brandon Fortenberry (Amber) and Jordan Doyle; two brothers, Gregory “Yogi” Doyle and Shelby “Scooter” Doyle; two sisters, Shelly Thompson and Priscilla Doyle; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Shelby and Velma Lou Doyle; one son, Brent Doyle; one sister, Carolyn Weldon; and one grandson, Jacob Doyle.
Pallbearers honored to serve are: Michael Paul Doyle, Nolan Fortenberry, Brandon Fortenberry, Jordan Doyle, Keith Chenevert and Ricky Meaux.
