Bob was a professional painter employed with Honeywell, and an incredibly gifted self taught professional musician who had a love for God, family, music, melody, and all instruments with strings. His forte, however, was the guitar. Self taught, he learned to play the guitar left handed, as well as the chromatica, banjo.
He got his love for music from his grandfather William Henry Jones Sr, a love which he passed on to his children, and grandchildren.
Bob was a man who had no enemies. A naturally wonderful spirit, he could captivate a crowd with his stories. Believe me when I say, when my Grandpa Jones told a story everyone was entertained!
I particularly remember the times when we would visit his sisters Marie Josephine (Jones) Pursell and Jane Francis (Jones) Roslin. The mere mention of his name brought, and still brings smiles to many faces.
All who were fortunate enough to be a part of this man's life, love him and truly miss him every day.
