As the lengthening shadows began to fall on August 7, 2019, the final chapter of Jerone Robinson’s life was ended after a long illness.

The end came quietly and serenely at the Lillian Carter Rehabilitation in Plains, Georgia. Jerome was born November 13, 1955 in Mitchell County, Georgia to Louise Robinson and the late Philander Robinson.

At an early age he confessed CHRIST and joined the Greater Union Missionary Baptist Church.

He attended and graduated from Camilla Consolidated High School.

Jerome was well known in the community as “Peter the Painter”. He was well liked by all who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted mother, Mary Louise Robinson of Camilla, Georgia; one sister, Phyllis Smith of Camilla, Georgia; five brothers, Eddie Harris of Lake Park, Georgia, Freddie (Alecia) Harris of Warner Robins, Georgia, Ira Harris of Camilla, Georgia, Philander Robinson, Jr. of Albany, Georgia, Lanorris Robinson of Camilla, Georgia; one son, Marcus (Laxonica) Williams of Pelham, Georgia; one son of California; one uncle, John D. McKelvin of Cocoa, Florida; four grandchildren, Lajardan Jenkins, Dior Calhoun, Adarius Jenkins, Sah’Renity Jenkins; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
