Obituary: Julia Elaine Robinson, age 88, of Petroleum, WV passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Pine View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Harrisville, WV. She was born July 14, 1931 in Cisco, WV a daughter of the late Joseph “Jum” and Eva Moore Davis. She was a graduate of Cairo High School in 1950 and worked at the Rowley’s Store of Cairo, WV for over 20 years. Julia is survived by one son, Donnie Robinson, North Carolina; two brothers, Eldred Davis and Ronald Davis (Deanna), Warren, OH; two grandchildren, Misty Robinson, New York and Donald Robinson (Katherine), Florida; two great-grandchildren Reagan and Bryce Robinson and several nieces and nephews. Caregivers Maggie and Homer Wright and special friend Gary Nichols of Petroleum, WV. In addition to her parents, Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur “Art” Robinson; one brother, Gay “Biddle” Davis. Funeral services will be held, Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville, WV at 11:00 AM with the Pastor Darrell Rowley officiating. Burial will follow in the Masonic Memorial Park, Cairo, WV. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 15, 2019.
