Ronnie Rose age 60 passed away Monday July 12th, 2010 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tn. Ronnie was born on March 21st, 1949 to his parents the late Buster Rose and Avonelle Tucker Rose. He was the husband of Rhonda Johnson Rose, a retired coal miner for Trojan Coal Company, and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith.
Along with his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Rose.
In addition to his wife, Ronnie is survived by one son, David (Connie) Rose of Shelby Gap, one brother, Dana Rose of Shelby Gap, two grandchildren, Summer Rose and Payton Rose, and a host of loving family and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Special services will be Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday 7-15-2010 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Robert Kelly and Jerry Overstreet officiating. The burial will follow in the Ratliff Cemetery at Elkhorn Creek.
