A burial will be held 2:00 PM at Pamlico Memorial Gardens, Sunday August 11, 2019.
Mrs. Edwards was born on September 19, 1948 to the late Claudie Haywood Rawls and Evelyn White Rawls. On July 16, 1971 she married John Robert Edwards, Jr. who preceded her in death on May 6, 2013. She was a member of Memorial Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Edwards worked as a legal secretary, she was a mother and a devoted wife.
Survivors include her three children, Leesa Edwards of Chocowinity, John H. Edwards and wife Michelle of Chocowinity, Belinda E. Adams of Greenville, a granddaughter, Bethany McVicker and husband Ryan, a sister, Claudette Jenkins, and a sister-in-law, Dianne White and husband Joe.
She is preceded in death by her three brothers, Bobby Rawls, Wayne Rawls, Jerry Rawls, and a sister Dorothy Vagnozzi.
