Elaine E. Berg, age 75, a resident of Winfield, died Saturday, July 26, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.
She was born February 14, 1933 in Boyceville, WI.
Elaine worked as a registered nurse at the DuPage Convalescent Center. After retirement in 1985, she and her husband, Richard lived in Florida, and returned to Winfield in 2001. She was a member of Gary United Methodist Church and served in the Gary Literary Club, the Lunch Group, and the Dorcas Circle.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard; two sons, Michael (Melissa) and Joe (Ellen); four grandchildren, Ryan, Kristy, Caroline and Kathryn; her sister, Helen (Nick) Riggio; her nephew, Kevin (Susan) Olson and her niece, Amy Jensen.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Gail Berglin; and her brother-in-law, Maynard Berglin.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 30, at 11:00 A.M. at Gary United Methodist Church, 224 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Gary United Methodist Church, 224 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187.
