Survivors include his wife of 28 years Kathy Carroll; daughters: Sheila Carroll and husband Terry Raby and Terry Lynn Battaglia. Brothers Raleigh Carroll and Ernest Carroll and wife Tody; sister Mary Helen Etheridge. Jerry has 2 granddaughters: Lauren Battaglia and Lyla Arrick and husband Cody; and 2 great granddaughters: Rylea and Finnley. Jerry is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many, many friends.
The celebration of Jerry’s life will be held on Wednesday August 7th, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Jerry’s memory to the Hadji Shriner’s Transportation Fund. The family would like to say a special thank you to the entire staff of Crestview Rehab Center for their compassionate and loving care they showed for Jerry.
