Edna Lee Parks, 91, of Concord passed away Monday August 12, 2019. Edna was born in Wolf Bayou, AR, May 27, 1928 to Clate and Bessie (Shephard) Phillips. Edna was of the Christian faith and attended 7th Day Worship Center in Concord. Edna was a hard-working woman that loved farming and tending to her farm animals, gardening, especially flowers, quilting, and fishing. Edna also enjoyed traveling, but most of all she enjoyed providing for, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Edna is preceded in death by both of her parents, her first husband, Auddie Eddings, her husband Joe Parks, 3 brothers: Buck, Toby, and Douglas Phillips, 3 sisters: Addie Inman, Bertie Neal, and Annabelle Burge, and one great granddaughter, Lorain Medley. Edna is survived by her two sons: Foy (Julie) Eddings and Paul (Rita) Eddings, her two daughters: Zee (Jerry) Floyd and Ruth (Bruce) Medley, one sister, Elizabeth Hagan, 6 grandchildren: Chris Eddings, P.J. Eddings, Audie (Cheryl) Medley, Kerry (Becky) Medley, Mirranda Sprayberry, and Marrianne (Keith) Green, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, numerous step-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Thursday, August 15, 2019, from 12-2 PM followed by a 2 PM Funeral at Willis Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery in Concord, AR
