Mrs. Stuart was born to the union of Dock Hoten Curry and Cora Collins Curry. She was a retired clerk with the Town of Columbia. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Columbia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Manford Homer Stuart; one son, Michael Stuart; and a grandson, Drew Wilson.
She was survived by her daughter, Connie Stuart Wilson of Houston, TX; two sons, Gary Stuart of Monroe and James Stuart of Columbia; three sisters, Enola Oliveaux of Monroe, Cora Lee Adams of Lafayette, and Fannie Morris of Baton Rouge; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
