Hannah Louise Brown of Dover, Delaware, passed away peacefully, Thursday July 25, 2019, at her home, after a short illness. Hannah was surrounded by family and loved ones.
Hannah was born Wednesday, July 30, 1941, in Dover Delaware, to the late Melvin Jones and Louise Anna Gibson.
Hannah grew up in Dover. She attended the public schools of Dover and graduated from Dover High School. Hannah later became a employee at General Foods, now known as Kraft Foods, and retired after 30 years of service.
In addition to her parents, Hannah was preceded in death by, sisters, Dorothy Gibson, Cora Jones; and brother Barry Jones.
She leaves to cherish memories a brother, Lonnie Jones of Dover; nephew, Nathaniel Bull and his wife, Toccara; niece, Stephanie Jones; devoted friends, Charlotte Waters of Dover, DE, Donny Waters of Smyrna, DE and Reba D. Atkins of Dover, DE; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Hannah was well respected and loved by many people who came in contact with her. Everybody calls her “Aunty”. She will be missed, but never forgotten and always loved. We are not saying goodbye but goodnight, rest peacefully your journey has just begun.
