She graduated from Dekalb High School in 1958 and married Sanders Edwin Temple, Jr. on February 6, 1965. Mrs. Temple was dedicated to her family as a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her pets. She was an avid collector of antiques, loved to tend to her flower garden, and go shopping. She also enjoyed making crafts and motorcycling with her husband. She was a member of Trinity Church United Methodist in Kendallville.

Son and daughter-in-law, Kirk and Krystal Temple of Kendallville. Daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Terry Donat of Kendallville. Daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Fred Barkey of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Son and daughter-in-law, Walter and Mary Temple of Kendallville. Daughter-in-law, Dyanne Temple-Barksdale of Athens, Alabama. 19 grandchilden, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
