Paul was born January 31, 1947, in Maryville, Missouri, to Paul Alma Hansen, Sr. and Donna Velma Peter Hansen. He was a 1965 graduate of Nodaway Holt RVII High School and attended Northwest Missouri State University.
Paul married Marjorie Michau McDonald on May 19, 1973, in Maitland, Missouri. He was a member of the Skidmore United Methodist Church and Elks Lodge 760. A life-long farmer, Paul enjoyed spending time on the farm and at Lake of the Ozarks.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents; father and mother-in-law, Cyrus Miles and Lillian Bohm Townsend McDonald; and brother-in-law Jackie Lee Appleman.
He is survived by his son Justin Hansen, daughter-in-law Jennifer and grandson Van, St. Louis, Missouri; daughter Ashley Reynolds and son-in-law Heath, Columbia, Missouri; sisters Jean Appleman, Skidmore, Missouri, and Sherry Flanary (Paul) of Maryville, Missouri; stepmother Donna Hansen, Hamilton, Missouri; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 5:00-7:00pm at Price Funeral Home in Maryville.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 16, 2019 at 10:00am at Price Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville, Missouri.
