Peggy Gail Alsup, age 83, of McAllen, passed away on August 7, 2019 after battling a lengthy illness. She was born October 6, 1935 to Bernie “Lee” Anderson and Ada Melinda Ellison in Lubbock.

She graduated from Ralls High School and attended Texas Tech University. Gail married Bobby Jack Alsup on June 24, 1955. She moved to Lubbock and was a member of the Broadway Church of Christ. Gail was an insurance agent for National Farm Life for many years and was an acclaimed artist.

Gail was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers B.L. and wife Billie Anderson Jr. and Ronald Anderson

Those left to cherish Gail’s memory are her son Craig Alsup and wife Wanda of Mission; and daughter Leah Galey of Augusta, GA; grandchildren Ryan Alsup and wife Abi of Keller, Ashley Alsup of Little Elm, Lauren Galey and Reagan Galey of Augusta, GA and great grand-children Harper, Clay and Greyson.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls. Graveside Services will be 10am, Monday, August 12, 2019 at Crosbyton Cemetery with Tim Mills officiating.
