Sharon Hayes, 70, of Westville, Illinois, passed away with family by her side on Saturday August 10, 2019 at Carle Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

Sharon was born in Clinton, Indiana on April 25, 1949, the daughter of Marion and Jaqueline (Witsman) Brown.

Sharon leaves behind five children, Cindy Myers, Tony (Tammy) Barham, Jaqueline (Brad) Kent, Charles Hayes and Dennese (Daniel) Stricklett; twelve grandchildren, Bobby, Lacie, Brittnie, Carrisa, Lucas, Ashley, Dusty, Charlie, Brett, Hunter, Trae and Tylan; eleven great grandchildren and her siblings, Jim (Kay) Brown, Randy (Nancy) Brown, Mitzi Brown and Chris (Jenna) Brown.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents.

Sharon was a hard-working lady. She worked at General Motors for thirty years then after working there she worked at KIK later at the American Legion in Westville. She loved her grandkids and great grandkids and she always was at there sporting events cheering them on. Sharon enjoyed mushroom hunting,
cooking for her family but most of all she was a great storyteller.
