Ronald Paul Rhodes Sr., 86, a native and resident of Chauvin, Louisiana passed away on August 10, 2019 surrounded by his loved ones.
The family held a private graveside service at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin, Louisiana.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Gloria Blanchard Rhodes; children, Lisa R. Colwart and husband Robert, Susan M. Lyons, and daughter-in-law, Michelle B Rhodes; grandchildren, Jessica L. Colwart and husband Timothy Sr., Hank J. Colwart and wife Candace, Jeffrey Lyons Jr., Dalton P. Lyons, Charlene Rhodes, and Randy P. Rhodes; great-grandchildren, Jesse, Joshua, Kaleb, and Timothy Babin Jr., Parker L. Colwart, Kolt Authement, Laila Naquin, and Sage S. Pye.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald P. Rhodes Jr., and parents, Clarence J. Rhodes and Annie Esther Sevin Rhodes.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a loyal employee of Texaco-Chevron for 31 years.
His favorite past times were fishing, hunting, and going to the camp. He was a loving husband and father.
