The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Floyd Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens.
He was born in Robeson County on Sept. 24, 1986. He was employed by Progress Energy, The Sutton Steam Plant in Wilmington.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Gene Rogers.
He is survived by his mother, Teresa Ivey Rogers; a half-brother, Craig Rogers; a half-sister, Tammy Rogers; his maternal grandfather, Winston Ivey, and maternal grandmother, Laura Ivey; his paternal grandparents, K.C. and Dorothy Rogers; his aunts and uncles, Fay and Terry Rogers and Frances and David Cox.
