Gregory “Greg” Allen Turner, 57, passed away at 7:12 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at his residence.

He was born in Hartford City on July 11, 1962 to Harold Turner and Carolyn Lee (Cook) Turner. His parents preceded him in death.

Greg graduated from Blackford County High School in 1980. He served in the United States Army from 1983 to 1986.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on things. He also enjoyed drinking coffee with his good friends, Curt Massey and Jeano Hamilton.

He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and the AMVETS. He formerly worked at Gardens of Memory, Hartford Concrete and Weaver Popcorn.

Greg will be sadly missed by his children, Kassie L. Turner-Ogden (friend, Charles McGuire) of Hartford City and son, Joshua A. Turner (friend, Leanne Juarez) of Hartford City; grandchildren, Haley Ogden, Journey McGuire, Harper McGuire, Kami McGuire, Cereniti McGuire, Mason Turner, Aracely Dominguez, Richard Dominguez, Jr. Dominguez, Garret Turner and Allaina Turner; good friends, Curt Massey and Jeano Hamilton; siblings, Raymond E. (wife, Mary Ellen) Turner of Montpelier, Tammy Jo (husband, Mike W.) Miller of Montpelier, Cheryl K. (husband, James M.) Heflin of Hartford City, Carol A. (husband, Mark E.) Justice of Hartford City and Harold Russell (wife, Carolyn R.) Turner of Hartford City; several nieces and nephews.

He is also preceded in death by his friend, Regina Brown.
